For New Private Schools
Launch a real Ontario private school, with the back-end already built.
You bring the vision and the students. We provide everything else to get a new Ontario accredited private school set up from start to finish: Ministry registration support, a complete OSSD curriculum, your branded platform, and qualified principal oversight.
30-minute call. No prep needed. You leave with a realistic launch plan either way.
What you're building:A Real School, Not a Course Site.
This is not a tutoring center or a course marketplace. You are creating a properly structured educational institution that delivers Ontario Secondary School Diploma courses, with academic governance, consistent learning experiences, and official Ontario-style academic records.
OSSD courses
Deliver credit-granting Ontario courses to students locally or abroad.
A learning platform
A consistent online experience with LMS, enrollment, and reporting under your brand.
Official records
Academic transcripts and report cards issued under proper school leadership.
Starting a school alone meansFour Full-Time Jobs at Once.
Starting an Ontario private school is not simply selling courses online. The regulatory, academic, and operational requirements are significant barriers for anyone entering this market independently — and getting them wrong is expensive.
SchoolConex has taken new schools through this journey end to end. You follow a path that has already been walked.

Registration & compliance
Inspection-ready policies, record systems, and documented processes that meet provincial standards. Most first-time operators have never seen what inspectors actually check.
Curriculum systems
Ontario-aligned curriculum with proper assessment frameworks, rubrics, and evaluation protocols takes years and serious capital to build from scratch.
Technology infrastructure
A reliable LMS, student tracking, reporting workflows, and identity verification — before your first tuition payment arrives.
Academic leadership
Credit decisions need a qualified, Ontario-certified principal providing oversight, governance, and institutional credibility.
Four pillars, provided from day one.
Registration & Compliance Support
We guide your Ministry filing and prepare the policies, documentation, and evidence folders your school needs to be inspection-ready.

What “Ontario-aligned” actually means.
Universities respect programs that hold up to scrutiny. This is where many providers fail — and where your school's advantage lies.
Clear course outlines
Detailed rubrics and transparent learning expectations for every course.
Assessment integrity
Transparent evaluation combining coursework and final assessments.
Audit-ready records
Organized documentation that withstands scrutiny, at inspection and beyond.
Identity verification
Academic integrity controls and student authentication built into delivery.
The partnership works best when you bring three things.
Access to student demand
Networks with education agents, schools, or tutoring centers — or proven marketing reach to prospective families.
Local support capability
The ability to run great sales conversations, enrollment guidance, onboarding, and family communication.
Long-term vision
Year one builds your institution's foundation; the returns come as enrollment scales in the years after.
New-school questions, answered straight.
No. You need the entrepreneurial side: brand, recruitment, and local operations. SchoolConex provides the academic infrastructure, including an Ontario-certified principal-of-record who holds the academic authority your school needs to operate credibly.
The BSID (Board School Identification Number) is assigned by the Ontario Ministry of Education after your school files a Notice of Intention to operate. It is your school's official identity in the Ontario system and the first formal step toward offering OSSD credit courses.
Ontario inspects private schools seeking authority to grant OSSD credits. Inspectors review student files, teacher files, school files, policies, and assessment evidence. We prepare all of it with you in advance, so inspection day reviews a school that is already organized.
Most partners go from kickoff to a fully operating school in six to nine months, depending on documentation speed and market readiness. We map a realistic timeline for your situation in the first planning call rather than quoting a number we have not scoped.
Yes, that is a core strength of the model. Students can follow Ontario-aligned courses from their home country, and PLAR lets transfer students convert prior learning into OSSD progress. Many partner schools recruit internationally from launch.
Your school does, under your principal-of-record. Credit decisions, official marks, transcripts, and student records always rest with authorized school leadership. SchoolConex runs the infrastructure behind those decisions, never the decisions themselves.
Start your school with the back-end already built.
In one launch planning call we review your market and student profile, map your delivery model and timeline, and give you a clear, realistic path to opening day.
No prep needed. No obligation. You leave with a clear go/no-go picture either way.
