Who we are and what this covers
SchoolConex provides white-label online-school infrastructure to private schools and learning organizations. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through this website (schoolconex.com). We operate from Ontario, Canada, and handle personal information in line with Canada's federal private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Information we collect
When you submit a form (booking a walkthrough, requesting the OSSD School Launch Kit, taking the readiness quiz, or leaving your details with our chat assistant), we collect what you provide: name, work email, phone, organization name and type, role, region, and your questions or quiz answers. We also record standard technical context with each submission — browser user agent, IP address, the page you were on, referrer, and campaign (UTM) parameters — to understand where inquiries come from.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, schedule the calls you request, deliver the resources you ask for, recommend the right SchoolConex solution, and manage the relationship in our internal customer-relationship system. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Email communications
If you request a resource such as the Launch Kit or the readiness report, we send it by email along with a short series of helpful follow-up messages about launching an online school. Every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately, as CASL requires. Transactional emails (delivering something you asked for, confirming a booking) are sent as needed.
Analytics and cookies
We deliberately keep tracking minimal. We use Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, aggregated page metrics) and Microsoft Clarity in cookieless mode (anonymized interaction patterns such as scrolling and clicks) to improve the site. We use no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers. The site sets a small preference cookie to remember your language choice.
Chat assistant
Our website chat assistant is powered by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). Messages you type are processed to generate replies, and if you choose to share your name and email in chat we save them as an inquiry, just like a form submission. Please don't share sensitive personal information in chat.
Service providers
We use a small set of processors to run this website: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (form-submission storage), Resend (email delivery), Google (appointment booking calendars), Microsoft Clarity (site analytics), and Anthropic (chat assistant). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Some providers process data outside Canada (typically in the United States).
Student data
This website is for school operators, not students. Please do not submit student work or student personal information through public website forms or chat. Student-record workflows for partner schools are handled through separate, contracted platforms and agreements — never through this marketing site.
Retention and security
We use administrative and technical safeguards (encrypted connections, access controls, least-privilege credentials) to protect the information we hold, keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires, and delete it on verified request.
Your rights and how to reach us
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing from emails takes one click in any message. For any privacy question or request, contact the SchoolConex team through the Book a Demo form and mention “privacy request”, or reply to any email we have sent you — we respond promptly.
Changes and governing version
We update this policy as our practices evolve and change the date above when we do. Where this policy is available in other languages, the English version governs.
